# Viewing Tags

[Tags](https://help.sonatype.com/en/tagging.html "Tagging") that have been created via the REST API can be viewed through the user interface through the _Tags_ entry if the active user has the _nexus:tags_ privilege.

Clicking on a row in the table will show a view where the attributes of a tag can be viewed.

Clicking the _Find Tagged Components_ button will open [search](https://help.sonatype.com/en/searching-for-components.html "Searching for Components") with a query for the tag currently viewed.
