Usage Center

Usage Center

The Usage Center provides administrators insight into their deployment’s scale to help know when to review your deployment model. The architecture deployments provided for Nexus Repository are designed to provide verified and tested performance and stability for your deployment depending on your usage.

Tip

The usage information is supported for High Availability (HA) deployments as of the Nexus Repository 3.80.0 release.

Usage Limitations for Community Edition

For Nexus Repository Community Edition deployments, the usage metrics assist administrators in keeping usage under the Community Edition usage limits of 40,000 total components or 100,000 requests per day.

Usage that exceeds these metrics requires upgrading to a Nexus Repository Pro license.

In Community Edition deployments exceeding the 40,000 total components or 100,000 requests per day limitation, users are not able to add new components until the deployment returns to being under both of these limits.

Once your Community Edition deployment falls below the limits, users are able to add new components again while the deployment remains below the limits. Users are not able to add new components during any time period while your deployment exceeds the limits.

Usage metrics take up to an hour to update after making changes to your usage.

Nexus Repository Pro deployments do not have usage limitations. Purchase a Nexus Repository Pro license by contacting our Sales team or through the self-purchase option.

Once you obtain a Pro license, upload the license following the license management instructions to remove the limits.

Usage Based Licensing

For usage-based Professional licenses, view your licensed usage under the license page. The licensing page shows Requests per Month and the Total Components allowed. A “Contact Us” option is included to purchase more usage capacity.
