Nexus One User Interface Overview

Nexus One User Interface Overview

The Nexus One User Interface is a modern interface for Nexus Repository designed to provide a faster and more intuitive user experience.

It is part of the broader Nexus One experience and is available alongside the classic Nexus Repository interface. You can switch between the two interfaces at any time, enabling you to explore new capabilities while continuing to use familiar workflows.

Note
The Nexus One UI is still evolving and does not yet support all features available in the Classic UI. The interface clearly marks unsupported features with a Coming soon label. To access full functionality, switch back to the Classic UI at any time.

Configuring the Nexus One User Interface

Administrators can control access to the Nexus One User Interface from Settings > System > Nexus One UI.

The following options allow you to configure access and behavior for the Nexus One UI.

Anonymous Users
The Anonymous Users checkbox controls whether unauthenticated users can access the Nexus One UI.

Logged-in Users
The Logged-in Users checkbox controls whether authenticated users can access the Nexus One UI.

Rollout Control
Use the Rollout Control options to manage how users adopt the Nexus One UI.

Enable the Default to Nexus One UI option to direct users to the Nexus One UI after login. When enabled, users land on the Nexus One UI instead of the Classic UI, and they can still switch back to the Classic UI using the Switch to Classic UI option.

Enable the Disable Switch Feedback option to stop collecting feedback from users. When enabled, the system hides the feedback prompt and the Nexus One UI does not send feedback data to Sonatype.

Accessing the Nexus One User Interface

The Nexus One User Interface is available to all Nexus Repository users, depending on administrator configuration.

To start using the Nexus One User Interface, in the top navigation bar, click Switch to Nexus One UI.

Ongoing Development
The Nexus One User Interface is actively evolving, with additional pages, workflows, and features introduced over time.

During this transition, you can continue using the classic interface for full functionality while new capabilities are progressively added to the Nexus One User Interface.

Switch Back to the Classic UI

To switch back, click Switch to Classic UI in the top navigation bar. When you switch, the system may prompt you to provide optional feedback about your experience with the Nexus One UI.

The feedback submitted through the Nexus One UI is sent to Sonatype to help improve the product.
