# Manage Usage and Billing

Sonatype Guide provides dedicated Usage and Billing pages to help you monitor API credit consumption, review subscription details, and manage your plan. Both pages are accessible from the Profile Menu.

## Accessing Usage or Billing

To access the Usage or Billing pages:

1. Click your avatar in the upper-right corner of the application.
2. Select _Usage_ or _Billing_ option from the profile menu.

**Note**

The _Billing_ option is available only to free users and organization owners.

## Usage

The Usage page provides an overview of API credit consumption for the current billing period, including total usage, usage trends, and activity across different integration channels.

- The _My Usage_ section displays your active plan, total credits consumed, billing period, and overall quota usage progress.
- The _Cumulative Credit Usage_ section shows daily and cumulative credit consumption trends for the selected billing period, along with summary metrics such as total usage, daily average, and peak usage day.
- The _My Usage By Channel_ section breaks down API usage by access method, including the Sonatype Guide web application, MCP integrations, and REST API usage.

## Billing

The Billing page allows users to review subscription plans and manage billing information based on their account role. Free users can explore upgrade options, while organization owners can manage subscriptions, invoices, and payment details.
