Unable to login initially with randomly generated password

Running Nexus 3.37.2 as a service in k8s cluster
On setting up the nexus, I’m unable to login with the randomly generated password.
I copied the generated password from /nexus-data/admin.password & it’s not accepting, saying wrong password.
FYI, in logs there are no errors while creating the pod.
