TFS Nexus IQ for Azure DevOps task scan targets question

The TFS build Nexus IQ for Azure DevOps task works well for solutions that are downloading NuGet packages to the local source. It’s able to scan for packages.

For more modern solutions that use project.nuget.cache, does anyone know how to apply the task there? Workarounds?
