Terraform format for hosted and proxy repositories

post by m588 on Jul 10, 2025

Hey guys,

i want to know, if you are planning to implement a format for terraform modules.

We like to store our own modules and want to bring the terraform registry into nexus.

Are there plans?

Greets,

Marcus

Hi! I’ll follow up internally and see where the status of this project is at.

Terraform as a repository format is being actively worked on, and we hope to make it available to customers in the first quarter of next year. That’s not a promise, just an estimate.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I’ve been waiting for this feature in a stable product for over a year, so I’m excited to try it out!
