# Set Node Friendly Name

## post by jspencer on May 3, 2023

Nexus 3.50.0 Pro HA, is there a way to give each node a friendly name?

The [Nodes API](https://help.sonatype.com/repomanager3/integrations/rest-and-integration-api/nodes-api) does not return any results.

Hi [@jspencer](https://community.sonatype.com/u/jspencer) and welcome! [From this section](https://help.sonatype.com/repomanager3/planning-your-implementation/resiliency-and-high-availability/high-availability-clustering-%28legacy%29/initial-setup---high-availability-clustering-%28legacy%29#InitialSetupHighAvailabilityClustering(Legacy)-FirstNode): You may want to assign a friendly _Node Name_ to each node in your cluster to make it easier to identify. Without a node name, screens that refer to individual nodes will display the unique ID labeled _Node Identity_ in the screenshot above. Simply click on the entry in the list and you will have the ability to set a node name.

Hi James, are you using the SQL HA, or the legacy Orient version?

As a Pro user this is something you could talk to support about.
