Nexus OSS beyond Java11?

AFAICS Java 11 is already EOL (see Oracle Java SE Support Roadmap). Nexus for Java 17 is “postgresql and H2 only”, according to the Download page. The database migrator is available for the Pro version only ( Migrating to a New Database) , so I wonder how to proceed with my Nexus OSS installation based on OrientDB and Java11? Do I have to migrate to the Pro version to get a supported database and a recent Java version?
