# Nexus OSS beyond Java11?

AFAICS Java 11 is already EOL (see [Oracle Java SE Support Roadmap](https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/java-se-support-roadmap.html)). Nexus for Java 17 is “postgresql and H2 only”, according to the Download page. The database migrator is available for the Pro version only ( [Migrating to a New Database](https://help.sonatype.com/en/migrating-to-a-new-database.html)), so I wonder how to proceed with my Nexus OSS installation based on OrientDB and Java11? Do I have to migrate to the Pro version to get a supported database and a recent Java version?
