# Nexus 3 Compatibility and migration

## post by Surbanoski_Aleksandar on Oct 22, 2025

Hello all,

I am not able to find what is last version of Nexus 3 which supports H2 and allows migration to PostgreSQL if in future we decide to move to PostgreSQL. Currenlty running 3.77.1-01

Also are there plans for Java 21 maybe ?

Tnx

H2 is still supported in the current Nexus, while I can’t predict the future today we don’t have plans to remove it.

What is last version which allows migration to PostgreSQL from H2?

Surbanoski,

**Every present version of Nexus Repository that supports H2 _also_ allows migration to Postgres.** There are currently no plans to make any version of Nexus Repository the “last” version that supports migration from H2 to Postgres.
