# New Course: Sonatype Guide and MCP Server

## post by jzora on Jan 16

If you’re just settling in after the holidays (and I hope you are, everyone deserves a mid-winter break) then you may have missed the release of Sonatype Guide.

Sonatype Guide is our cutting-edge OSS component intelligence, formatted for maximum usefulness. If you’re in your browser, it’s a search engine. If you’re coding with an AI assistant, it’s an MCP server. And it has a suite of APIs for easy custom integrations.

Learn more about Guide, and see how to try it for yourself, in our [Sona Short about the topic.](https://learn.sonatype.com/learn/courses/272/sonatype-guide-and-mcp-server/lessons)

Hi Jonathan,

Any idea who can share a roadmap of the Learning portal itself to answer this question?

Hi, Radek,

Tell us more about your use case for badging like this. Would you require members of your team to earn certain badges?
