API to create Admin - Export Database for backup

Hello,

Is there an API or some method available to create an “Admin - Export Database for Backup” and execute it? We want to automate this process but haven’t been able to find any API to accomplish this. We are using Nexus 3.70.0.

There is no general API to create tasks today, however once it is created you should have the option to run it. See the API documentation in the admin section of the Nexus web interface.

If you run on a database, you can backup the related tables. There are several of them. This way I am doing migration from test server to another test server. Just keep in mind, that Nexus uses a lot of stuff in memory and it may not initiate the task processes unless you restart it.
